Anders Jeppesen Jensen, M.Sc., Business Administration (46) has been appointed as the new General Manager of HKScan Denmark A/S, effective as of 17 November, 2014.
Jensen will be responsible for HKScan’s Danish Consumer business and poultry operations. Moreover, Jensen will lead the Group’s brand- and innovation-driven strategy implementation in Denmark. He will report to Göran Holm, EVP Consumer Business, Scandinavia.
With over two decades’ experience in the food industry, Jensen has built up a solid skill-set in leadership, sales and marketing in various roles in well-known meat and food companies, most recently as Executive Director at Tican A/S as well as Managing Director at Tican Process A/S. His prior positions include that of Managing Director for Arla Foods in Norway.
HKScan will benefit from Jensen’s strong track record in food-industry related international set-ups. His extensive managerial experience and brand-building knowledge will be a valuable asset for HKScan Denmark going forward.
Jensen will replace Thomas Perkiö, temporary GM for HKScan Denmark, who will continue to give his important support to the Danish team during a transition period. After that, Perkiö will assume another key senior position at HKScan Group to be announced in due course.
